The elemental analyzer Vario Max CNS is a fully automatic instrument for speedy and quantitative determination of carbon, nitrogen and sulfur in environmental samples (soils, sediments and plants). The elemental analyzer Vario Max CNS works according to the principle of catalytic tube combustion under oxygen supply and high temperatures. The desired measuring components are separated from each other with the help of specific adsorption columns and determined in succession with a thermal conductivity detector (TDC)
iCE3500 AAS Spectrometer (Thermo Scientific)
– double-beam atomic absorption spectrometer with two measuring chamber
– possibility to measure using several AAS techniques: Graphite Furnace AAS and Flame AAS
– possibility of simultaneous correction for background in a graphite furnace using a deuterium lamp and based on the Zeeman effect (increased sensitivity of the assays of some elements)
AAS determination of elements: Ag, Ca, Cr, Cu, Fe, K, Mg, Mn, Pb, Zn, Ni, Cd in environmental samples (soils, sediments and plants).
